Short version

We set analytics cookies only if you accept them on the consent banner. If you decline, or if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, no cookies are set. We do not run ads, we do not use cross-site tracking, and we do not sell your data.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device to remember information between visits. Some sites use them to keep you logged in. Others use them to count visits or to follow readers across sites for advertising.

Cookies we use

When you accept analytics on the consent banner, Google Analytics 4 (property G-77KNDWGYP9) sets the following first-party cookies:

• _ga: distinguishes visitors. Expires after 2 years.
• _ga_G-77KNDWGYP9: session state for this specific Google Analytics property. Expires after 2 years.

These are strictly analytics cookies. They record aggregate usage. They do not carry advertising identifiers, they do not personalize any content, and they are not used for cross-site tracking. IP addresses are anonymized before storage.

If you decline on the banner, no analytics cookies are set. Under Google Consent Mode v2, Google Analytics still receives aggregate modeled signals with no user identifier, and no data is written to your device.

We load no advertising scripts, no marketing pixels, and no third-party trackers beyond Google Analytics as described here.

What our hosting provider may log

Like any web host, our provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser, referring page, page requested, timestamp) for security and reliability. These logs aren't cookies. They're described in the Privacy Policy under "Information we collect automatically" and "Retention".

If this changes

If we add any other technology that uses cookies or local storage beyond Google Analytics as described above, we will:

• Update this page first, with a full inventory of every new cookie, its vendor, its purpose, and how long it lasts.
• Update the consent banner categories to cover it, where required (for example, under the EU ePrivacy Directive and UK PECR).
• Continue to honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal as a withdrawal of consent for any non-essential tracking.

How to manage cookies in general

You can change your analytics consent at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the site footer. You can also block or delete cookies from within your browser. Your browser's help section has instructions. If you block cookies at the browser level, the site still works, and no analytics cookies will be written even after you accept on the banner.
