Short version
This site does not set any cookies. We do not run analytics. We do not track you across sites. We do not show ads. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device to remember information between visits. Some sites use them to keep you logged in. Others use them to count visits or to follow readers across sites for advertising.
Cookies we use
None. As of the last-updated date below, DepressionResource.org sets no first-party cookies and loads no third-party scripts that set cookies. The site is delivered as static pages from our hosting provider, with no login, no advertising network, and no analytics tag.
What our hosting provider may log
Like any web host, our provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser, referring page, page requested, timestamp) for security and reliability. These logs are not cookies. They are described in the Privacy Policy under "Information we collect automatically" and "Retention".
If this changes
If we ever add analytics or any other technology that uses cookies or local storage, we will:
- Update this page first, with a full inventory of every cookie, its vendor, its purpose, and how long it lasts.
- Add a consent banner where the law requires one (for example, the EU ePrivacy Directive and UK PECR for any non-essential cookie or similar technology).
- Honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal as a withdrawal of consent for any non-essential tracking.
Our intent is to use a cookieless analytics tool if we add measurement at all, so a banner is not needed in the first place.
How to manage cookies in general
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies set by any site. Your browser's help section has instructions. Because this site sets none, those settings do not affect how it works for you here.
Updates to this policy
We update this page whenever our use of cookies or trackers changes. The last-updated date is shown at the bottom of the page.
